What are Kees and Chris talking about for Porsche Canada Ice Experience 2027?
What is a “buy out” and why
Porsche considers 40 clients per group to be a full group. 5 teams of 8 clients.
If we can secure a full group (40) early in the year then Kees can negotiate a personalized curriculum.
We can do 3 days “how we like it”. We do NOT need to follow the Porsche Canada curriculum.
We can potentially do:
Day 1 – Warmup exercises. (Circle drift, Rally flick, Slalom, LTB braking)
Day 2 – Start later (noon?) Do Track 1 or Track 4 lapping sessions and then do one or two night time sessions….??
Day 3 – Straight lapping sessions of different types of tracks. Perhaps do some sort of timed competition?
Here is what we know:
Need early commitment
May 15th, 2026 latest
Actual event dates: Early February 2027
40 clients
Note each seat will be around Can$ 13K
Price is “all inclusive”. You’re responsible only for your own transportation from home to the event hotel (1.5 hrs from Montreal) and return.
Everybody will be in a current Porsche supplied 911 (C2s or C4s)
Use 1.5 mm studs
Need to have everybodies proper email and text cell #
All participating clients must have previous “Ice Experience” certificate or their dry track experience must be well known to Kees.
If we have a group of novices, we can accommodate them also. We’ll be able to make a group of 8 and do more learning and practise sessions.
Unknowns:
Not sure yet how we will handle the finances. This may be dictated by Porsche Canada
If we succeed in putting this together we will be making a very substantial donation to a Charity like “West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation” in Vancouver, BC
We donated $12K from the 2025 Area 27 group that came to Ice Experience.
If your interested and would like to have your name on the list then please email me your info ASAP.
